Kendra + Kevin
Our team had a blast getting to know Kendra and Kevin. They had an amazing event full of laughter, karaoke, and even police lights and sirens…what more could you ask for? The City View venue was sparkling with gold accents and all the gorgeous floral that our team could dream up, another wonderful event in the books!
Getting Ready at Parish of the Holy Spirit
Our photo team, Nat and Emily, met up with Kendra and Kevin at Parish of the Holy Spirit in Grand Rapids where they were getting ready before the ceremony. The bride and groom wrote letters to each other, and Kendra did a first look with her dad. Soon it was time for the ceremony to begin!

A Reverent Catholic Ceremony
Kendra and Kevin’s ceremony was beautiful, full of emotion, special readings and all the reverence of a traditional catholic ceremony. There were a few moments of laughter, and then a final departure full of happy guests and lots of bubbles!

Bridal Party Photos in Downtown Grand Rapids and Provin Trails
Before the wedding, Kendra sent photos to Nat looking for a specific wall located somewhere in Grand Rapids! Nat and her husband, Rob, drove around looking until they found it! During the photos here, at one point there were police across the road that turned on their sirens and lights, making the photo team a bit nervous…but the bridal party had nerves of steel, and they continued, unphased!
The day of the wedding, not only did they take photos at this amazing wall, but they also spent some time at Provin Trails to get some photos in the gorgeous pines. Shortly after, it was back to the City View Venue and time to start the reception!

A City View Reception
The City View was particularly beautiful for Kendra and Kevin’s reception. Lots of sparkling sequins, glittering gold accents, and gorgeous floral from our wonderful design team. Distinctive Catering put on a delicious buffet dinner, and also provided the bar service. Sweet Yo’s not only served frozen yogurt, but also provided the cake. Affordable Limo made sure the wedding party arrived on time, and then our D2D staff jumped in to coordinate and make sure all went smoothly!
The best man’s speech was a hilarious roast of the groom, and once speeches and dinner were wrapped up, it was time to hit the dance floor! A little Late Night Pizza from D2D, and the bride and groomsmen serenading the crowd to a rendition of “Should have been a cowboy” by Toby Keith, was the perfect ending to a fun filled day!

All the Best from Studio D2D!
