Katie + Clay
Such a sweet, sweet couple! We loved working with them! Their story is so special too, they met working at a police department, and friendship grew into the love that they so obviously now have for each other! They had a beautiful wedding in our City View Venue, and we can’t wait to share a little sneak peek for you here!
Getting Ready in the Large Suite at 401 Hall St
Our photo team, Nic and Molly, met up with Katie and her ladies in our largest bridal/tux suite at 401. The natural light and exposed brick makes for some fantastic photos! Katie and her girls were also pampered by the stylists of Queen’s Parlor, one of Studio D2D’s newest adventures! Our stylists can meet you at the venue and get you looking as gorgeous as you deserve to be on your wedding day. After she was all ready, Katie did a first look with her father upstairs in the City View. I think we all were a little choked up as we watched!
The guys had spent the morning golfing, and they met up with the photographers a bit later for their getting ready photos. Soon, everyone was ready for the ceremony to start!

A Bright and Airy City View Ceremony
It was a beautiful and bright afternoon in the City View! The beautiful cream and blush floral from our design team perfectly accented the soft natural light that came streaming in during the ceremony. Katie and Clay had an intimate ceremony with a special sand ceremony, and there were tears from the bridesmaids, so you know it was an emotional day!

Bridal Party Photos at the Studio D2D Event Center
After Katie and Clay signed the marriage license, Nic and Molly took the bridal party down to the covered loading docks at the venue for some bridal party photos. The light was perfect, and the rustic brick and industrial features of the building made the perfect backdrop for the bridal party to let loose and have some fun!
After a bit, the bridal party went upstairs to prep for the reception and Katie and Clay stayed behind for a few photos alone.

A City View Reception
Katie and Clay had an amazing reception with a fantastic focus on their family! From dances with parents, and their kiddos, to speeches from their dads. It was a fun party all the way around, so much so, that they almost forgot to cut their cake!
Catering Concepts did a fabulous job with dinner, and Scrumptious Cupcakes and Sweetery lived up to their name with the cake and cupcakes! D2D was on hand for event planning/coordinating, floral design, tuxedos, photography, late night pizza and more! Raven Media House {Katie’s cousin Brandon } was the videographer for the day {we can vouch that he was fabulous to work with!}.

All the Best from Studio D2D!
Katie & Clay, it was awesome getting the chance to work with you on your wedding day! You guys were amazing! Wishing you all the best!
