Meet the Grand Rapids Beer Trolley!
Austin from Grand Rapids Beer Trolley contacted Dan a while back, asking to become one of our Preferred Vendors. Dan, as protective of our clients as a mother bear, let Austin know that we would love to get to know them better, but we had to see firsthand the product and service that they wanted to offer our clients!
A date was set, and our crew prepared to do a little “market research,” looking forward to the trolley ride as we visited a couple of local breweries and a coffee shop. To be honest, we planned on visiting a few more than we actually made it to, but we were having such an amazing time, we just couldn’t hit them all!
Austin, his father John (our driver for the day), and Austin’s sister, are the owners and operators of this fantastic open air trolley. We hope you can see, through the video and the photos, what an amazing experience this is! Congrats Gr Beer Trolley! You guys have done a wonderful thing!
D2D + Harmony Brewing Company
First stop-Harmony Brewing Company! John drove us around town, heading towards Harmony, located on Lake Dr in Eastown. We had so much fun on the trolley, there may have been a few dance offs…and everyone on the sidewalks participated too!
At Harmony, we enjoyed their Beach Wedding Saison beer, it just seemed really appropriate, you know?! A few snacks and apps, and we were back on the road! Just a heads up, our bartender and server, Brian and Julio were amazing! Harmony is great stop on your own beer tour!

D2D + New Holland Brewing Co-The Knickerbocker
Another fantastic ride to the New Holland Brewing Co’s westside location, The Knickerbocker! The dancing was a tad more enthusiastic this time, everyone was feeling great! Bradley, one of our DJs, serenaded us most of the way…the guy has skills! John was amazing, getting us safely across town, giving us a great ride checking out all the downtown activity. He also was forced into taking our group pics, and really did a great job (John, there may be a place for you on the photo team)!
Drinks at the Knickerbocker ran the gamut, from local brews, to flights, and dragon’s milk coffee drinks! We snacked away on their amazing appetizers, and then back on the trolley again to hit up a coffee shop before the trip ended.

D2D + Madcap Coffee
Our last stop on the tour helped to bring us all back to reality! We stopped at Madcap on Fulton St, grabbed some coffee and took a trip down Memory Lane, visiting the first offices that Dan and Andrea ran a wedding business from. The fun just continued as John got us all back on the trolley and back to Studio D2D Event Center!

Sharing the Adventure!
We had such a blast with the team at Grand Rapids Beer Trolley! They showed us an amazing time, displayed professionalism the entire trip, and yet were easy to connect with and have fun with. We hope you take the time to check them out for your next Studio D2D event!
